We've been having a hard time getting jars from our supplier but managed to get our hands on a few so we whipped up a quick batch. Order online and get it while we've got it. Are appies and bubbles with your bubble on the age Are appies and bubbles with your bubble on the agenda for new year's? 🍾🥂 Just because we're keeping things small doesn't mean they can't still be tasty. These pepper jelly brie bites are so easy and you can make as many or as few as you want. 

Just grab a package of phyllo cups (look for them in the deli cheese section of your grocery store) fill them with a little square of brie and top with some pepper jelly. We used our Jalapeno Gin Jelly, but our Fire & Ice Wine jelly would be great too! Bake them in a 350° oven for about 5-7 minutes. Sprinkle with a little thyme and serve immediately.

Bring on the holidays! I packed and shipped our la Bring on the holidays! I packed and shipped our last order for the season and am so ready for a few days off. This has been one crazy year. I don't know about you, but I could use a cocktail!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If you've been following us for a while you may be familiar with our Pepper Jelly Margarita recipe. It's been a fan favourite around here, so I thought I'd mix it up with this festive cranberry version. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🍹 Pepper Jelly Margaritas🍹⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Makes 4⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌵 2/3 cup fresh squeezed lime juice⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌵 1/3 cup cranberry juice⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌵 1 cup tequila⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌵 1/2 cup triple sec⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌵 1/4 cup Taste of the Okanagan Cranberry Jalapeño Jelly.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Mix all ingredients together in a large pitcher and stir well to dissolve jelly. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add 1/4 of the mixture. Shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled glass with salted rim.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🎉 TIP: melt a small amount of pepper jelly in the microwave on a plate. Turn glasses upside down to rim the edge with jelly, followed by salt.

• 2oz Bourbon⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Like the rest of 2020, Christmas is gonna look a l Like the rest of 2020, Christmas is gonna look a little different for most of us this year... but that doesn't mean it can't still be special.  This roasted potato dish is not only beautiful and delicious it's also easy to scale up or down depending on how many people you've got.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I usually find one russet potato per person leaves me just enough leftovers for brunch the next morning. But you be the judge of how big your appetites are.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For every potato, I use about 1 tablespoon of our Roasted Garlic & Onion Jam, 1/4 tsp of salt, 1/2 tbsp of butter (melted), 1 tsp of grated parmesan or gruyere cheese and a sprinkle of fresh thyme.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•Preheat an oven to 375°F⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•Using a sharp knife thinly slice your potatoes. If you have a mandolin that will speed things up for you, but a sharp knife will get the job done just fine. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•Brush the bottom of an ovenproof pan with butter. A cast iron skillet would be idea, but you could use a pie tin, or a casserole dish, or any kind of bakeware that fits your amount of potatoes. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•Add your sliced potatoes to a large bowl and toss with the rest of the melted butter, the Roasted Garlic & Onion Jam, salt, thyme and most of the cheese (save a little to sprinkle on the top).⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•Once potatoes are well coated pile them into your dish vertically but at a slight angle in a circular pattern, filling the dish completely.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•Pour whatever is left in the bowl over the top and add a couple of fresh sprigs of thyme. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•Roast until the top edges of the potatoes are crispy, about 50-60 minutes, sprinkle with the remaining cheese and bake for another 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•Let stand for 10 minutes before serving then dig in!

• Preheat your oven to 375°F
• Roll out your puff pastry and cut into small circles or squares.
• Line a baking sheet with parchment and layout your shapes. (You could also do these in a mini muffin tin)
• Top with 1/2 tsp of Goat Cheese and 1/2 tsp of Taste of the Okanagan Olive Tapenade.
• Brush the pastry with a bit of egg wash.
• Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Try this with Red Wine Antipasto & Manchego Cheese. Roasted Garlic & Onion Jam with Blue Cheese. Orchard Chutney with Italian Sausage. Cranberry Jalapeno Jelly and Brie. Let us know what your favourite flavour combination!
